MoaniBags808 began as a father-daughter venture making bags with personality, purpose, and the kind of construction you notice every day.
From fabric to favorite carry.
Moani is the owner and designer. Bruce is the maker and designer, handling production and in-person Oahu sales while Moani completes graduate study in California.
The studio looks for hard-to-find, out-of-print, and custom-designed fabrics, then pairs them with durable recycled canvas. Totes make room for school, beach, pool, and everyday life. Smaller pouches help keep the essentials together. Backpacks and sling packs are padded for the moving parts of a real day.
Every piece is made at home in Hawaii, then checked before it leaves the studio. Even the family dogs, Obi-Wan and Satine, are part of the inspection crew.
