Bamboo Tapa Printers “Ohe Kapala” Sling-pack

Recycled canvas reclaims plastic bottles that were bound for landfills. This sling-pack uses recycled canvas as the base because this material tolerates moisture and wear.

The recycled canvas for this pack is custom printed with ohe kapala (bamboo kapa printers). These are traditional Hawaiian tools for pressing inks onto barkcloth to make distinctive Hawaiian designs.

Three compartments for storing essential items:

Top zippered cargo pocket - 7” x 4”. Bottom zippered cargo pocket - 8” x 6”. Hidden zipper on the reverse - full size of the back panel.

The exterior of this handmade sling-pack is fused with a heavyweight polyester interfacing for added strength and shape.

The pocket linings are made of black cotton broadcloth.

The 1 1/2” polypropylene webbing strap can be adjusted to wear this pack around the waist or as a crossbody bag.

Maximum strap length = 58” Smallest strap length for wearing around the waist = 36”

This pack is not washable and not recommended for carrying sharp or heavy objects.

NOTE: Since this is handmade in a home-based work area on consumer-grade machines, buyers can expect minor imperfections.
