Kanaka Maoli Mini Backpack

$55

The Kanaka Maoli flag design was created in 1993 by Uncle Louis “Buzzy” Agard as a replacement for the current white, red, and blue Hawaiian flag that features the British Union Jack. Kanaka Maoli and supporters have increasingly rallied around and flown this cultural symbol with pride. Some of the symbols used in this Hawaiian flag are of ancient origin, but the overall design is not.

This mini backpack is handmade in Hawaii from a custom print on linen-cotton canvas. This fabric is not water-resistant and should not be washed.

The external pieces of this pack are fused to ¼" flex foam to help protect the contents from being bumped.

The lining of this pack is made from a sponge effect cotton fabric backed with a solid green cotton canvas for stability and durability.

The two interior zippered compartments help organize and protect your belongings. The edges of the lining are encased in green bias tape for a clean finish.

The 1" nylon webbing straps can be adjusted for a personal fit.

Take this pack to the beach or park. The exterior fabric brushes clean if it’s left in the sand.
